In early February, NYC DOT went to Manhattan Community Boards 9, 10, and 11, as well as Bronx Community Board 1 to present a draft plan for Citi Bike stations in their neighborhood. The draft plan takes into account the public outreach we've received, as well as other siting criteria, including ADA accessibility, parking loss and nearby utilities. Installations are expected to start in these areas later this spring.
If you were unable to make it to the community board meetings, the presentation and maps are now available on this website. Visit the "Maps & Plans" in the top menu, and navigate down to the appropriate tab. We will also be accepting comments about the draft plan in the next few weeks. We have a short survey that asks station you are talking about (by noting the intersection), what comments you have, and, if applicable, an alternate location.
