NYC DOT Commissioner Rodriguez and Lyft Announce Citi Bike Medical Workers Program

NYC DOT Commissioner Ydanis Rodriguez and Lyft announced Citi Bike Medical Worker's Program, making free 60-day memberships available to hospital workers during this current moment of uncertainty with a rising number of COVID-19 cases due to the Omicron variant. Public and private hospital employees, including custodial workers and other support staff, will be eligible to sign up for the program through their place of employment until February 7th, 2022.

“Cycling has played a critical role in keeping NYC moving during the pandemic. We thank Lyft and Citi Bike for the Citi Bike Medical Workers Program, which will provide an equitable, safe, and enjoyable way to commute for our most essential workers.” stated Commissioner Rodriguez
