Citi Bike is partnering with the public library systems in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens to offer one month of free Citi Bike rides for NYCHA residents and SNAP recipients.
More than 7,500 New Yorkers have signed up for Reduced Fare Bike Share in its first year, riding twice as often as annual members. With the help of the City’s libraries, Lyft wants to say Thank You!
For the one-year celebration of Citi Bike’s Reduced Fare Bike Share program, presented by Healthfirst, NYCHA residents and SNAP recipients can visit any of the nearly 60 public libraries in the Citi Bike service area to receive a free month of Citi Bike.
Stop by the circulation desk at any of the nearly 60 public library branches within the service area to pick up a gift certificate that will give you access to a free month of Citi Bike!
You’ll get access to unlimited 45-minute rides during this 30-day period. Members can choose to continue their membership afterwards, paying just $5 a month, by simply taking a Citi Bike trip!
This offer will be available to new Citi Bike members while supplies last at local branches. There is no annual commitment or auto-renew.
